I created a [discord server](https://discord.gg/cX3KvsY) called Steem Repo, part of a unique big project to preserve the best good quality posts we find. Our mission is to save all this posts into a repository called STEEM REPO: http://www.steemrepo.info/steemrepo/

So we not only reward creators, but we give them the possibility to have evidence by external users.

<h4>How it works?</h4>

Is very easy, the system has an algorithm to show you only relevant "CARDS".
Why i speak about Cards and not photo if i said it is like instagram?

Because you can create a single publication with multiple photo and comments on it.
Let me do an example of a publicattion i made:

This is the first photo with a comment on it: *"Tulipani Bianchi di Cornaredo - Italy"*

Then i published different photos like it was a book...

Before I told you about good quality posts, because people on this platform don't upvote bad photos with bad descriptions. This is why I suggest only to good artists to join on this platform!!!!

<h4> How to be rewardwd on it?</h4>

Let me say it works like "Badoo". The system will present you Cards and you have to accept or decline it. When one it's discarded the system will propose a new one. If you want to accept it you can choose a percentage between 5% to 100%.

Now what you have to do is to wait someone like your works. Like steem all earning will be given after 7 days from the publication. As said before the payment will be given with **SOL**.

<h4>What i have to understand better....</h4>

I registered to this platform today and i know somenthing like nothing about it, so i have to understand:


- Do I have my wallet with my personal priv key? (because when i registered i entered only a password i choose)
- There is a limit to publish daily cards?
- Exist a referral program?
- If I publish "Bad Cards" i loose reputation?
- Do I have a limit to upvote other cards?
- Do I loose power when i upvote someone else?
- What's the method used by the system to propose my cards to others?
- There is a mining behind?
- It's a DPOS system with witnesses?

If you have more info about it let me know. I'll make for sure an upgrade of all that infos.

@for91days let me say it's totally different because SOLA is like Instagram and you can publish one shot photo addding a short description. On Steem this is not appreciate because is a Blog platform.
Did you earn somenthing there?

I made 1000 sol and I'm holding but I think  it will be worth nothing soon. Also they didn't offer to re-invest in the platfrom like Steemit does. But stay tuned for Appics, I thin this will be the app we're all waiting for.

Hi there Yanosh01. I've joined Sola previously and was active this couple of days. So, from what I've gathered so far (for the old system)...

- No witnesses. Sola is somewhat a centralized crypto. The company has the _absolute_ power in any decision.
- Action Point (AP) = Steem bandwidth + Steem Voting Power
- SOL = the crypto. ERC20. Can be withdrawed per 100 SOL.
- If people upvote your card with AP, you earn SOL. The mathematic / percentage is unknown for me.
- So far, I can't find any _downvote_ system. Swiping down just skip the card. Though there's a _report_ button.

### However, those above were the previous system.

per May 24th, the Sola company want's to erase any _blog to earn_ system, making it a normal social media. [Here's the Medium's announcement.](https://medium.com/solaplatform/changes-in-sol-model-e368d5973289?source=collection_home---5------2----------------)

> Vote-based auto distribution of SOL will be discontinued in upcoming updates... Because of this decision there is no need to limit the number of votes you can cast so Action Points will be gone too... we are considering rewarding users with SOL for platform-beneficial activities like categorization, reporting, etc.

So, basically the Sola company wants to go back to ordinary social media, and only rewards SOL for people doing services for the company. _sigh._

The old system is still running though. The AP effect is gone, but we can still earn SOL. Hopefully, the company will revert back to the _blog to earn_ system.

The changes are implemented in the upcoming update. As I've stated above the old system is still running. But after the upcoming update to the system, the company wants to go back to ordinary social media. The _"only rewards SOL for people doing services for the company"_ is my opinion based on the Medium article.
