Se aproxima la época decembrina y con ella el deseo de agasajar a nuestros seres queridos, a pesar de ser una época nostálgica y a veces triste para muchas personas, lo que siempre prevalece en estas fechas es la paz, la buena voluntad y el amor… y que forma más elocuente de demostrar este bello sentimiento que regalar una rica mermelada hecha por nosotros mismos aprovechando los  frutos de temporada, en este caso acá en Argentina las frutillas y los tomates están a muy buenos precios, esta mermelada que prepararemos hoy no contiene químicos ni preservantes y muy poca cantidad de azúcar, así mis queridos amigos que  regalaremos algo rico, sano y nutritivo ya que uno de los ingredientes es el tomate y este al cocinarse se activa el licopeno que lo contiene en abundancia y al ser un poderoso antioxidante previene el envejecimiento de nuestras células y distintos tipos de cánceres. Particularmente presento alergias al consumir alimentos envasados que contienen preservantes para su larga duración y he optado por preparar mis mermeladas para esos momentos que me antojo de comer este tipo de conservas. Así que espero que esta receta sea de su agrado y se entusiasmen a prepararla tanto para obsequiarla como para el consumo de ustedes mismos. Solamente necesitaremos 3 ingredientes, unos frascos esterilizados y algunos adornos que tengamos guardados en algún cajón, así que sin más preámbulos manos a la obra😊

1.- Se lavan las fresas y se pican en cuadritos pequeños
2.- Se lavan los tomates y se les quita la piel previamente colocándolos en agua hirviendo, se pican en cuadritos 
3.- Se colocan las frutas picadas en una cacerola con el jugo del limón y la taza de azúcar
4.- Se deja hidratar la fruta con el jugo de limón y el azúcar por media hora hasta que suelten sus jugos en que se van a cocinar ya que esta preparación no lleva agua
5.- Luego de media hora hidratándose la fruta, se coloca la cacerola en la hornilla a fuego medio por 20 minutos hasta que la fruta se ablande 
6.- Se licua la preparación de la fruta y se vuelve a colocar al fuego por 15 minutos más hasta que comience a hervir a borbotones y haya reducido.
7.- Se envasa el producto en los frascos y se adornan según tu creatividad y los elementos con que cuentes
