#### Un saludo ante todo, también aprovecho para agradecer la super bienvenida que dieron a mi llegada a la plataforma.

Aquí estoy para contarles algo por lo que estoy pasando actualmente. lo cual puede ser un tema de interés para mujeres y hombres. Les comento, hace ocho años tengo prótesis mamarias, y hace unos días fui a un medico para realizar algunos chequeos generales. Me revisó, me hizo unos exámenes y resulta que una de las prótesis estaba dañada por lo que me indicó que lo más recomendable era cambiarlas. Consulté presupuesto con él y con otra doctora, resultó mas accesible con el primero. Estuve revisando su instagram para tener una idea de sus trabajos y me pareció bastante bien. 

Todo fue muy rápido, me hice los exámenes de sangre y estaban todos bien, tenía una valoración cardiovascular reciente por lo que también me sirvió, además conservaba el brassier de cuando me operaron hace ocho años y se encontraba en buenas condiciones. El doctor tenía disponibilidad para operarme, aproveche de preguntarle si me podía realizar la "lipopapada", ya que en mi último embarazo engordé mucho y se me acumuló mucha grasa en ese sitio en especifico (la papada). Buenos las mamis que están en este grupo saben que esto sucede mucho. El doctor me indicó que comprara la mentonera, que él no me iba cobrar por hacerla y esto me animó aun mas.

I consulted a budget with him and with another doctor, it was more affordable with the first one. I was reviewing his instagram to get an idea of his work and it seemed pretty good.

>Everything went very fast, I did the blood tests and they were all fine, I had a recent cardiovascular evaluation so it also helped me, I also kept the bra from when I was operated on eight years ago and it was in good condition. The doctor was available to operate me, I took the opportunity to ask him if he could perform the "lipopapada", since in my last pregnancy I gained a lot of weight and I accumulated a lot of fat in that specific place (the double chin). Well, the mommies in this group know that this happens a lot. The doctor told me to buy the chin lift, that he was not going to charge me for it and this encouraged me even more.

Ayer muy temprano me fui preparada a la clínica, llevé los medicamentos que me solicitaron y  como siempre mi prima del Alma fue mi compañía. Soy muy afortunada de tenerla en mi vida, ella se llama María y de cariño le decimos dulce, mis hijos también la adoran y con toda la razón, *¡se lo ha ganado!*. 

Entramos, esperamos que la enfermera nos llamara, nos llevó a la habitación, me prepararon y me colocaron la vía en la vena. Les confieso que yo me pongo muy nerviosa cuando me colocan inyecciones, me retiran puntos o me colocan esa vía en la vena. He soportado tanto dolor en la vida, y esas cosas sencillas me dan mucho miedo.

El doctor acostumbra a grabar videos de las pacientes antes y después de operarlas, así que me llamó a mi y a otra chica para hacernos un video. Luego de ello como a las 10am procedió a operarme. La cirugía solo duró una hora y media, entre las anécdotas la enfermera me dijo que durante los momentos de anestesia hablé mas de la cuenta y de paso pedía que me sacaran el tubo de la boca. En verdad no recuerdo nada en lo absoluto. ¡Que pena, bueno ya saben, son efectos de la anestesia!

A las 3pm me dieron de alta ya que me veía bien, no hizo falta quedarme hospitalizada. Cuando desperté, recuerdo que temblaba mucho por el frío y por los efectos de la anestesia, eso si lo recuerdo levemente. Mi hermano fue por mi y me llevó a la casa. 

Mis hijos no sabían que me iban a operar, no les dije nada para que no se preocuparan, pero cuando llegué se contentaron bastante de verme bien. Nadie sabe que me operaron, solo ellos, mi prima, mi hermano y mi madre.

>The doctor usually takes videos of the patients before and after surgery, so he called me and another girl to take a video of us. After that at about 10am he proceeded to operate on me. The surgery only lasted an hour and a half, among the anecdotes the nurse told me that during the moments of anesthesia I talked more than I should have and in passing I asked for the tube to be taken out of my mouth. I really don't remember anything at all, what a pity, well you know, they are the effects of anesthesia!

>At 3pm I was discharged since I looked fine, there was no need to stay hospitalized. When I woke up, I remember that I was shaking a lot because of the cold and the effects of the anesthesia, I remember that slightly. My brother came for me and took me home. 

>My children did not know I was going to be operated on, I did not tell them anything so they would not worry, but when I arrived they were quite happy to see me well. No one knows I had surgery, only them, my cousin, my brother and my mother.

Cuando salí del quirófano y desperté, pensé: el doctor como que se olvidó de hacerme lipopapada porque no me duele nada. Y al ratico que tomé mi celular para tomarme una foto, veo que tengo una curita. Allí me di cuenta que si me la había hecho, pero como no sentía dolor, realmente pensé que no había cumplido con su palabra.


Con respecto a las prótesis elegí unas de poco tamaño, ya que yo sufro de la columna y no quiero más adelante estar sufriendo de dolores en la espalda por las cuestión del peso y todo lo que implica.

>When I came out of the operating room and woke up, I thought: the doctor kind of forgot to give me a lipopap because it doesn't hurt at all. And when I took my cell phone to take a picture, I saw that I had a band-aid. There I realized that he had done it, but since I did not feel any pain, I really thought that he had not kept his word.


>Regarding the prosthesis, I chose a small size, since I suffer from spinal pain and I do not want to suffer from back pain later on due to the weight and all that it implies.

Hoy fui a la terapia de masaje, y me sentí bastante mejor. El doctor me comentó que he sido muy buena paciente, que me porté muy bien, y me felicitó por hacerme este cambio de prótesis, ya que es lo más adecuado para la salud.

>Today I went to the massage therapy, and I felt much better. The doctor told me that I have been a very good patient, that I behaved very well, and he congratulated me for having this prosthesis change, since it is the most appropriate for my health.

Hice este post con la intención de enfatizar lo importante que son los chequeos médicos constantes, a tiempo, lo importante que es sentirse bien con ustedes mismos, que hagan lo que les haga feliz, sin prestar atención a las criticas destructivas, siempre y cuando eso no le haga daño a los demás. 

Si desean que les hable más sobre estos temas déjenmelo saber en los comentarios, para así seguir contándoles día a día como va mi evolución. En este momento estoy sentada frente a la computadora escribiendo y gracias a Dios me siento en condiciones de hacerlo, no me duele casi nada, y agradezco a Dios una vez mas por esto, porque he visto como otras chicas sufren a pesar de que sus operaciones fueron realizadas muchos días antes que la mía.

En otro momento les contaré sobre una abdominoplastia que me vi obligada a hacerme luego de que tuve a los mellizos, ya que mi vientre quedó destruido.
