<p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Hey friends! How are you all doing? I hope you're having a great time.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">I'm Yeli MarΓn, and I want to share what my day was like, surrounded by paints, brushes, scissors, and a lot of cardboard. And yes, just one pot of coffee wasn't enough!</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Today, I met with other moms to get to work on what will be the closing project for our children's third pedagogical period. This is the first time they've worked as a group, and I'm really happy with their help. They've been committed to all the activities we've had to do.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmRweFXcPWtkXH6ex5WHBTu3dynxr139gBoEFJcPiACkrN/" alt=""></p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">The theme for this third pedagogical period is "Rhythms and Flavors of Our Country." It's a beautiful theme, actually, because the kids, in groups, will get to learn in depth about the different states of our beautiful country.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmWfpLWw2dXUiZz6to6TUx3TP1pCQE2quj899ts7fNPUhc/" alt=""></p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">For each state, every group of students will create a historical review, share information about their most important economic activities, significant celebrations, cultural aspects, gastronomy, geographical distribution, and more. Each group is free to recreate the most important elements of their assigned state.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">In my son's case, he didn't have a group to work with at first. So, when I asked who was available to form a group, it turned out he'd already been put into one, and that's the group I'm working with now.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmdQmrD5eeKMQTrJKoTgW2d3wKK4JNq2KuFe6Afd5ML1GS/" alt=""></p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Initially, we created a WhatsApp group to gather our ideas. In this case, I'm the "idea woman," and my teammates have worked alongside me, helping me bring every vision I have for the activity to life. My first thought was a background stage, but since we were focusing on an island, everything had to be themed to that location.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Our assigned state was Nueva Esparta, so I outlined all the points that needed to be studied, which were suggested by the teacher. This way, each person was responsible for their child's individual study, but the ambiance had to be a group effort. So, together, we bought the brushes and paints, gathered lots of cardboard and bond paper, and got to work.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmedjNcwffm5tuouHUSSQXstTNLjA1T7jGndSoe3gqqUtG/" alt=""></p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">Coffee and Creativity Of course, to work calmly and with energy, coffee was essential. It's almost a ritual for Venezuelans that at every meeting, we have our cup of coffee and, of course, some delicious varied pastries we chose, with arequipe and guava fillings.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">First, we brewed a pot of coffee, and the aroma filled the whole place. It felt so good, haha! That energized us, and we started creating, building a cardboard boat. If there's one thing my creativity has no limits with, it's that, and if I wanted them to feel transported to Nueva Esparta, a boat was a must. But not only that, I also wanted everything related to the sea, and that meant a fishing net.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmU9yHsN3P2KLTcm2WKhKrt8EKAuEAjk69AwM5VzQjqkaU/" alt=""></p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">And this net wasn't as easy as I thought, but once I start something, I don't give up. So, it took me many hours to weave that net, and I finally did it! I was very happy with the result. My energy dipped several times, so luckily, we brought instant criollo coffee, and that way, we could make enough to stay energized and get as much done as possible for the day.</p><p style="text-align: justify" dir="justify">This closing project is going to be amazing, and of course, I'll share photos of our creations later so you can learn more about my beautiful country.</p><p style="text-align: center" dir="center"><img src="https://images.ecency.com/DQmVotfdy6NboHZ74oYB6Wab3n9F6X8cBVKJeJKUVtokkQ1/" alt=""></p>
