<center>No por tener piel tersa, es menos dulce la uva,
ni la sandía menos fresca, por carnosa en sus entrañas.
Temor y respeto son las intrincadas montañas
que al mismo tiempo invitan a que el osado suba.</center>

<center>Tu entrega a la vida es hermosa y pura,
Con sensibilidad al débil lo acompañas
Y tu fuerza la brindas sin razones tacañas:
Ejemplo de mujer, fortaleza y ternura.</center>

<center>Esos rasgos de vida me han incitado a amarte,
porque es parte de ti, pero no es inconexo
del perfil de tu cuerpo, de esa obra de arte.</center>

<center>Es tu piel la sustancia que aviva nuestro nexo,
Y en plena desnudez, tus más intimas partes
Solo hablan de deseo, solo invitan al sexo.</center>

<center>The grape is no less sweet for having a smooth skin,
nor the watermelon less fresh, because of its fleshy entrails.
Fear and respect are the intricate mountains
that at the same time invite the daring to climb.</center>

<center>Your dedication to life is beautiful and pure,
With sensitivity you accompany the weak
And your strength you offer without stingy reasons:
Example of woman, strength and tenderness.</center>

<center>These traits of life have incited me to love you,
because it is part of you, but it is not unrelated
from the profile of your body, from that work of art.</center>

<center>It is your skin the substance that enlivens our nexus,
And in full nakedness, your most intimate parts
Only speak of desire, only invite you to sex.</center>

Hoy he llegado al poema número 22, de esta serie de sonetos de versos alejandrinos, según su estructura en español. Sin embargo, hoy quise probar algo diferente y decidí incluir, además del texto, la declamación del mismo.

Quise mantener la máxima neutralidad en el tono para dejarle las riendas sueltas al espectador y no influir en su percepción del texto.

Espero que esta modalidad tenga una buena acogida, si no con gusto me limitaré al texto en las próximas publicaciones.

Una vez más aclaro, que la inclusión del texto en inglés no tiene pretensiones literarias, sino facilitar la comprensión a los amantes de la literatura en español, pero que no tienen este idioma como lengua materna.

Today I have reached poem number 22 of this series of sonnets of alexandrine verses, according to their structure in Spanish. However, today I wanted to try something different and decided to include, in addition to the text, the declamation of the same.

I wanted to maintain the maximum neutrality in the tone to leave the reins loose to the viewer and not influence their perception of the text.

I hope that this modality will be well received, if not I will gladly limit myself to the text in the next posts.

Once again I clarify, that the inclusion of the text in English has no literary pretensions, but to facilitate the understanding for those who love literature in Spanish, but who do not have this language as their mother tongue.

No hay nada más hermoso que escuchar un poema de los propios labios del poeta, me encantó, recordé cuando en mis inicios en la Blockchain lo hacía, la declamación siempre es una forma mágica de conectar con quienes amamos la poesía. Un abrazo gigante para ti.
