It's amazing, but since the quarantine started I have less free time than I had before. But it happens that every bad thing brings its good part and in my case the quarantine has allowed me to start a work that if it were not for this situation, I could not have assumed.

These days should have been my first big concert with my new salsa project. For obvious reasons it was suspended, but this situation has allowed me to start developing the complete repertoire that I will have in my project. This is something that otherwise I could not have done at this time. So at the end of the quarantine I will have all the repertoire I may need, both in large group and small group formats.
I am convinced that I am a methodical and organized person. Some time ago I prepared daily itineraries, with a distribution of tasks by percentages, with daily, weekly and monthly checks. These taught me how to make the most of my time and although I no longer prepare those schedules that way, I learned to manage my time in the best way.
Of course, all this new organization came into effect a few days ago, because the move of the community I lead ([La Colmena](http://la-colmena.me/)) to Hive and the reprogramming of the website and the bots (because I additionally lost the domain where I had hosted the page, databases and everything else) took me quite a while, in which I was dedicated almost exclusively to programming and Hive in general.
But once I got back to "normal", I resumed my musical project, which involves dedication to arrangements, the study of instruments and the practice of the repertoire. But I also decided to reactivate a facet that was neglected, such as composition. So I decided that for my project I must compose at least two songs, one of which is already very close to being ready and there is another one that I have a clear idea about, although I haven't managed to shape it yet.
As an important part of the repertoire is in Russian, I am studying the language and practicing constantly. But additionally I am practicing English, which although I have gotten used to writing in that language, I find it difficult to speak and my mind gets blocked when I have to say something. The only way to overcome that is by studying and practicing.
It is worth making the comment here that, because several people wrote in past days about [Duolingo](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duolingo) (mobile application for languages), I decided to try it. At the beginning I loved it, but I think that it remains in too basic levels (However I have continued using it for lack of other tools).
As a musician the medium-term outlook is not very optimistic, so I decided that I should spend more time on Hive and publishing content. So here I am participating in another of these interesting initiatives, called by @anomadsoul, @blocktrades and @ocdb, that allow us to create varied content. This aspect is very important, because apart from the social benefits that we have, this is the only income that we have now in my house and it becomes indispensable to be able to continue acquiring food and to maintain active services (although fortunately they also dictated some laws so that these days they cannot suspend the service to anybody).
The sports activities that I like to practice, I can't do them because of the social distance, so I do a few exercises in the morning and during the day I dedicate a few hours to the work in the garden, which because of the dimensions and characteristics of ours, becomes a hard work, a farmer's work. There I end up just as exhausted as you can be after severe sports training.

And to complete, although the work of my community (@la-colmena) is already done, I decided to continue working on various programs and functions for the bot and for the platform in general. Without forgetting that every day it is necessary to do curation work, to post the authors showcase, to support the curators and to attend to all the needs of the people who make up the community.
Sometimes I don't have time to complete some of the tasks in a day, because there are also the commitments with the house and the family, but in general terms I am completing all the tasks daily. Little by little you will be able to see the results of all this in my posts. So this is a good time to follow me and find out what I bring in the near future.

Parece mentira, pero desde que empezó la cuarentena tengo menos tiempo libre que el que tenía antes. Pero es que cada cosa mala, trae su parte buena y en mi caso la cuarentena me ha permitido ponerme a adelantar un trabajo, que de no ser por esta situación, no podría haberlo asumido.
En estos día debió haberse realizado mi primer concierto grande con mi proyecto de salsa nuevo. Por razones obvias quedó suspendido, pero esta situación me ha permitido empezar a desarrollar el repertorio completo que voy a tener en mi proyecto. Esto es algo que de otra manera no podría haber hecho en este momento. Así que al terminar la cuarentena tendré todo el repertorio que pueda necesitar, tanto en formato de grupo grande, como en el pequeño.
Yo estoy convencido de que soy una persona metódica y organizada. Hace tiempo yo preparaba unos itinerarios diarios, con una distribución de tareas por porcentajes, con chequeos diarios , semanales y mensuales. Estos me enseñaron a aprovechar el tiempo y aunque ya no los preparo de esa manera, aprendí a administrar mi tiempo de la mejor manera.
Por supuesto, toda esta organización nueva entró en vigencia hace unos pocos días, pues la mudanza de la comunidad que yo dirijo ([La Colmena](http://la-colmena.me/)) a Hive y la reprogramación del sitio web y los bots (porque adicionalmente perdí el dominio en el que tenía alojada la página, bases de datos y todo lo demás) me llevaron bastante tiempo, en el que estuve dedicado de manera casi exclusiva a programar y a Hive en general.
Pero una vez vueltos a la “normalidad”, he retomado mi proyecto musical, el cual implica dedicación a los arreglos, al estudio de los instrumentos y a la práctica del repertorio. Pero además decidí reactivar una faceta que la tenía descuidad, como lo es la composición. Así que decidí que para mi proyecto debo componer al menos dos canciones, una de las cuales ya está muy cerca de quedar lista y hay otra que tengo la idea clara, aunque no he logrado darle forma aún.
Como una parte importante del repertorio es en ruso, estoy estudiando el idioma y practicando de manera constante. Pero adicionalmente estoy practicando el inglés, que aunque me he acostumbrado a escribir en ese idioma, me resulta difícil hablarlo y la mente se me bloquea cuando tengo que decir algo. La única manera de vencer eso es estudiando y practicando.
Valga hacer el comentario acá que, debido a que varias personas escribieron en días pasados acerca de [Duolingo](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duolingo&hl=es_VE) (aplicación móvil para idiomas), decidí probarlo. Al principio me encantó, pero me parece que se queda en niveles demasiado básicos (Sin embargo he seguido utilizándolo a falta de otras herramientas).

Como músico las perspectivas a mediano plazo no son muy optimistas, por esta razón decidí que debía dedicarle más tiempo a Hive y a la publicación de contenido. Así que aquí estoy participando en otra de estas interesantes iniciativas, convocada por @anomadsoul, @blocktrades y @ocdb, que nos permiten crear contenido variado. Este aspecto es muy importante, pues aparte de los beneficios sociales con que contamos, este es el único ingreso que tenemos ahorita en mi casa y se vuelve indispensable para poder seguir adquiriendo alimentos y mantener activos los servicios (aunque afortunadamente también dictaron unas leyes para que en estos días no le puedan suspender el servicio a nadie).
Las actividades deportivas que a mí me gusta practicar, no puedo hacerlas por el distanciamiento social, así que hago unos pocos ejercicios en la mañana y en el día le dedico unas horas a los trabajos del jardín, que por las dimensiones y características del nuestro, se vuelve un trabajo rudo, un trabajo de campesino. Ahí termino igual de exhausto que después de un entrenamiento deportivo severo.
Y para completar, aunque el trabajo de mi comunidad (@la-colmena) ya está listo, decidí seguir trabajando en varios programas y funciones para el bot y para la plataforma en general. Sin olvidar que todos los días hay que hacer trabajo de curación, publicar la muestra de autores, apoyar a los curadores y atender todas las necesidades de las personas que conforman la comunidad.
A veces no me da tiempo de cumplir con alguna de las tareas en un día, porque además hay los compromisos con la casa y la familia, pero en términos generales voy cumpliendo con todas las tareas. Poco a poco van poder ir viendo los resultados de todo ello en mis publicaciones. Así que este es un buen momento para seguirme y enterarte de lo que traigo.
