Siendo una articulación muy importante, está sometida constantemente a presiones y malos tratos. Golpes o exceso de movimiento, malas posturas o desgaste producto de la edad, la rodilla suele verse comprometida de muchas maneras. En mi caso, he tenido una pequeña fisura en la rótula, cuyo tratamiento ha constado de varios componentes. El principal, es la paciencia, ya que hay que darle su tiempo al cuerpo para que regenere esa pequeña grieta en el hueso. Otro importante ingrediente es mantener una alimentación balanceada, con alto contenido protéico y que incluya una buena ingesta de vitaminas C proveniente de frutas cítricas, y alta en colágeno, que se puede obtener principalmente de la popular sopa de hueso, ya que este es el colágeno que el cuerpo mejor puede absorber. También, una buena dosis de sol para activar la vitamina D que ayudará a fijar el calcio necesario para reparar la fisura.
