Tiger's Eye using Watercolor Pencil

I have here today a drawing a tiger's eye. It was done on watercolor pad using Faber Castell Watercolor Pencil and brush.

It was a bit tough for me because I am not used on using my watercolor pencils yet.

What I did first is make a simple sketch concerning the eye and the tiger's black fur. Then I erased the sketch a little to lessen the weight of the pencil's line. I started to color the black ones then color the other  fur with light shade. I also colored the eye a little yellow at first. There are some parts that I did not color for the white fur. I applied water on it next so I could layer it with another color. I noticed that the color was too dull so I tried to add more weight to each color. I started to apply darker shades to make it more appealing to the eye. I made some retouches and that's how I made it.
