Desde niña siempre sentí una gran admiración por mi abuelo, el tenia un carácter fuete, era orgulloso pero al mismo tiempo era muy noble de corazón, incluso yo dormía en su habitación porque me sentía protegida , porque como todo niño de temía a la oscuridad y a los cuentos de espantos que normalmente se decían en los campos.

><div class="text-justify">Since I was a child I always felt a great admiration for my grandfather, he had a strong character, he was proud but at the same time he was very noble at heart, I even slept in his room because I felt protected, because like every child he was afraid of the dark and the tales of horrors that were normally told in the fields.</div>

De mi abuelo aprendí las lecciones de vida más importantes, como lo son la honestidad y la bondad, era un hombre que nunca fue mezquino, siempre hacía todo lo posible por el bienestar de su familia, pero a veces también fue un viejito cascarrabias a medida que iba envejeciendo, pero conmigo su trato siempre fue amable, yo no tenía su carácter  es decir, yo siempre era llorona y nunca me defendía incluso cuando alguien me atacaba en la escuela o en las peleas de hermanos cuando  éramos pequeños, pero el me defendía, por otro lado el di cuenta que mi abuelo  era orgulloso y no era capaz de perdonar fácilmente a los que le habían hecho enojar o le habían hecho algo malo, yo veía que en esto el y yo nos parecíamos.

><div class="text-justify">From my grandfather I learned the most important life lessons, such as honesty and kindness, he was a man who was never petty, he always did everything possible for the well-being of his family, but sometimes he was also a curmudgeonly old man. he was getting older, but with me his treatment was always kind, I didn't have his character, that is, I was always a crybaby and never defended myself even when someone attacked me at school or in sibling fights when we were little, but he defended me On the other hand, he realized that my grandfather was proud and was not easily able to forgive those who had made him angry or had done something bad to him. I saw that in this he and I were alike.</div>

Sin embargo, una vivencia con mi abuelo me permitió ver que aquella actitud no era lo correcto,  pues resulta ser que mi abuelo tenía un hermano (mi tío abuelo) , el vivía a unos cuantos kilómetros de nuestra casa, pero de vez cuando se ellos se visitaban ,en una de esas visitas ellos discutieron por una cosa muy tonta, creo que por unos plátanos,  no estoy segura pero era lago insignificante,  el asunto en realidad fue un malentendido pero ninguno de los dos daría su brazo a torcer, ambos eran muy orgullos y pasaron años sin hablarse.

Pasado un tiempo mi tío enfermo, noticias llegaron a mi casa de que el ya estaba a punto de morir, mi abuelo al escuchar la noticia de inmediato soltó lo que estaba haciendo y se fue caminando apresuradamente al caserío donde vivía mi tío, yo salí detrás de mi abuelo, porque yo siempre quería ir a todos lados con el, el estaba tan apurado que yo no podía alcanzarlo, porque mi abuelo era alto y yo apenas era una niña.

><div class="text-justify">After a while my uncle was sick, news reached my house that he was about to die, my grandfather, upon hearing the news, immediately dropped what he was doing and hurriedly walked to the village where my uncle lived, I left behind of my grandfather, because I always wanted to go everywhere with him, he was in such a hurry that I could not reach him, because my grandfather was tall and I was just a girl.

Cuando mi abuelo cruzó la puerta del cuarto de mi tío y lo vio en la cama muriendo, el fue a su lado y le tomó la mano, mi tío alzó la mirada y dijo el nombre de mi abuelo, inmediatamente mi tío murió, en pocas palabras ambos se perdonaron, mi abuelo al ir a tomar su mano y tío al decir su nombre, solo entonces ambos estaban en paz y mi tío pudo dar el último adiós a este mundo, descansando de paz.

><div class="text-justify">When my grandfather crossed the door of my uncle's room and saw him in bed dying, he went to his side and took his hand, my uncle looked up and said my grandfather's name, immediately my uncle died, in a few words they both forgave each other, my grandfather going to take his hand and uncle saying his name, only then were both at peace and my uncle was able to say the last goodbye to this world, resting in peace.

Este suceso que fue real y que yo misma vi con mis ojos, me hizo cambiar, me hizo reflexionar a mi corta edad, entendí que el orgullo no siempre es bueno, que la paz es algo muy preciado y que esta se consigue al estar bien con nuestros seres queridos, con nuestro entorno, con nuestras acciones  y con nosotros mismo, no hay que esperar a estar muriendo para buscar la paz, incluso si no hay posibilidades de conciliación con alguien quien nos haya hecho algo malo, debemos mantener la paz interior, esto es algo con lo que lucho constantemente, tratar de perdonar y dejar ir aunque sea difícil, se que la paz con uno mismo es el camino correcto para la vida y también para enfrentar la muerte cuando sea el momento, vivir sin arrepentimientos y  rencores nos ayuda a ser felices y alcanzar la paz hasta el final de los días. 
</div>

><div class="text-justify">This event that was real and that I myself saw with my own eyes, made me change, made me reflect at my young age, I understood that pride is not always good, that peace is something very precious and that it is achieved by being well with our loved ones, with our environment, with our actions and with ourselves, we must not wait until we are dying to seek peace, even if there is no possibility of conciliation with someone who has done something wrong to us, we must maintain inner peace , this is something I constantly struggle with, try to forgive and let go even if it is difficult, I know that peace with oneself is the right path for life and also to face death when the time is right, live without regrets and grudges It helps us to be happy and achieve peace until the end of days.</div>
