Este jueves Santo, la familia de mi esposo nos invito a almorzar, creo que ya es una costumbre reunirnos en semana santa para almorzar al menos jueves o viernes santo. Yo no creí que iría ya que he estado mal de la cervical y estoy de reposo estos días, no me he sentido muy bien, pero aquí vamos con todas las ganas del mundo. Así que nos fuimos a almorzar, solo somos seis personas, nuestra familia es pequeña, la familia de mi esposo son de Trujillo y ellos tienen su costumbre, creo que todos tenemos algunas de las herencias de las abuelas por así decirlo y en estas fechas siempre he escuchado que no se debe comer carne, no se de donde sacaron eso?? Pero en mi familia antes era igual, así que la costumbre es comer pescado salado o seco. En Maracay se hacen colas en las pescadores y los vendedores de las calles para adquirirlo, claro en esta época algunos abusan de los costos, lo cierto es que mi cuñada preparó pescado seco desmenuzado, arroz, ensalada de remolacha, papá, zanahoria y huevo que estaba deliciosa y una sopa de pan, esta sopa viene de Trujillo y a ellos les encanta, sobre todo en está época. Realmente a mi no me gusta la sopa de pan no es de mis favoritas, ella me contaba que en Trujillo en está fecha acostumbran a comer 7 potajes , es decir que debían haber 7 alimentos en la mesa, desde la sopa, seco, hasta dulce y que así acostumbran a comer en semana santa, claro está que ella no hizo los siete potajes sino que hanlamos de ello, comentando como eran esas mesas antes. Pasamos un lindo rato en familia recordando esas enseñanzas que nos dejaron las abuelas y nuestras madres, fue una gran época, ahora nos toca enseñar a nuestros hijos un poco de esa historia que son partes de nuestros legados. La comida estuvo excelente y acompañados de la familia mucho más, espero que tengan una gran semana santa y no olviden lo más importante de está época el sacrificio que hizo Dios por cada uno de nosotros. Veo tantos platillos deliciosos en la mesa y se me antoja acompañarlos. Tienes razón en esta época, el costo del pescado se incrementa de una forma impresionante.
