Fortunately, I live in an area where getting fruit is a fairly easy task, and its cost is relatively lower when compared to large population centers and this is because I am in the heart of a highly commercial area, where the products grown within a few miles around are exchanged, so getting top quality food is something really everyday. The best of all this can be noticed in the freshness of each product, its flavor and texture, since we are talking about fruits and vegetables that practically go from the producer to the consumer, which is transformed into great benefits for our health and our economy.

Afortunadamente, yo vivo en una zona en donde conseguir frutas es una tarea bastante fácil, además su costo es relativamente menor al compararlo con los grandes centros poblados y esto se debe a que me encuentro en el corazón de un área altamente comercial, en donde se intercambian los productos cultivados a pocos kilómetros a la redonda, con lo cual obtener alimentos de primera calidad es algo realmente cotidiano. Lo mejor de todo esto se puede notar en la frescura de cada producto, su sabor y textura, ya que estamos hablando de frutas y verduras que prácticamente pasan desde el productor al consumidor, lo cual se transforma en grandes beneficios para nuestra salud y nuestra economía.

In this opportunity I am going to prepare a combination between tree tomato and durase, to tell the truth it is an invented recipe and it is the first time I am going to try its result, so my mind is open to an intense flavor and a creamy texture, but sometimes what one thinks does not usually materialize in reality, so there is no other option but to prepare this interesting drink to be able to corroborate that initial thought.

En esta oportunidad voy a preparar una combinación entre tomate de árbol y durase, a decir verdad se trata de una receta inventada y es primera vez que voy a probar su resultado, así que mi mente se encuentra abierta a un sabor intenso y una textura cremosa, pero a veces lo que uno piensa no se suele materializar en la realidad, por lo cual no queda otra opción que preparar esta interesante bebida para poder corroborar ese pensamiento inicial.

#### **Preparation:**

As in any process for the preparation of any food, it is necessary to wash our fruits well, remove all the peel and chop them into squares, I should note that I did this step previously a couple of days ago, and once I had my fruits already selected I proceeded to freeze them until the time to make the juice, this action is necessary in my house, since at the moment I do not have a refrigerator and so all the elements must be frozen to be able to keep them in time.

#### **Preparación:**

Como en todo proceso para la elaboración de cualquier alimento, es necesario lavar bien nuestras frutas, le retiremos toda la cáscara y la piquemos en cuadros, debo acotar que este paso lo hice previamente hace un par de días, y una vez que tenía mis frutas ya seleccionadas procedía a congelarlas hasta el momento de realizar el jugo, esta acción es necesaria en mi casa, ya que por los momentos no cuento con un refrigerador y por lo que todos los elementos deben ser congelados para poderlos mantener en el tiempo.

The next step is to place each of the ingredients in our blender, starting with the tomato, followed by the peach, add the sugar and finally the entire liter of water. This way everything is ready to turn on the switch of the blender and start processing each of the elements, resulting in a totally homogeneous mixture, but at the same time with a slushy touch, thanks to the fact that the fruits were frozen.

El siguiente paso es colocar cada uno de los ingredientes dentro de nuestra licuadora, empezando por el tomate, seguimos con el durazno, agregamos el azúcar y finalmente la totalidad del litro de agua. De esta forma ya todo está listo para accionar el interruptor de la licuadora y empezar a procesar cada uno de los elementos, dando como resultado una mezcla totalmente homogénea, pero al mismo tiempo con un toque granizado, esto gracias a que las frutas se encontraban congeladas.

At the end of this process I obtained as a result a delicious juice, very refreshing and with a huge vitamin load, it really came out quite creamy and as for its flavor I must emphasize that the tomato has a very definite presence, but the peach gives it the necessary character and the ideal balance to be able to classify this as a refreshing drink.

Al final de todo este proceso obtuve como resultado un jugo delicioso, muy refrescante y con una carga vitamínica enorme, realmente salió bastante cremoso y en cuanto a su sabor debo resaltar que el tomate tiene una presencia bastante definida, pero el durazno le brinda el carácter necesario y el balance ideal para poder catalogar a esta como una bebida refrescante.
