The Perfect Weekend for today

An ideal weekend changes based on how treacherous or boring your week has been. Some days, my ideal weekend could be loud nights at a club or a party and other days, it could be lounging on a sofa with a good book. I've never been to a beach but I'm damn sure it could be my ideal weekend at some point too.

Based on the kind of week I've had, I'm craving a loud weekend with a lot of alcohol, loud music and one or two bad decisions. It's been a while since I had one of those. I miss dancing for 3 hours without a care in the world, singing loudly and holding a very toxic liquid in hand.

The last time I had this was October. It was the wedding after-party of a close friend and we went clubbing. I didn't drink a lot of alcohol because I didn't feel particularly comfortable with the crowd so I needed to have my sanity.

Weirdly, I have this internal sense of responsibility so unless I'm drinking indoors with a bunch of my friends, chances are, I'll never let myself get drunk. I never lose my concentration. I don't know why but it's a path I would love to thread on my Ideal Weekend.

I would love to let my wild side run free for a bit and just live without thinking just for a day.

I guess I won't be having this anytime soon. This weekend, I have a Hive meet-up planned. While it's not a night of bad decisions, I will be drinking a substantial amount of alcohol and playing like a complete lunatic.
