On a day like this, I left my community to another community which I considered as greener pastures.
Leaving the community was among the things I ever wanted.
While I was contemplating on which community to migrate to, there was many difficulties such as, missing my parents and siblings, finding a better apartment, making new friends and accommodating new neighbors.
It was a stressful thing for me to adapt to the changes when I moved.
After about a year, I got rid of these thoughts, amendment came and took dominance of it all.
I made new friends, found a better job and all which I ever wanted came to pass.
I spent some years in the new city, migrated to another better one via work transfer and also applied the same technique which previously worked for me.
For me, it became like am on transit, moving from one city to the other.
This I did for years and moved to almost all the states in my country.
A day came when the retirement letter came.
It was inevitable to retire because I was on the right age to say goodbye to civil servant job. 
I stayed in the city for 5 years and it seemed like I have missed it all in my hometown.
I made few arrangements for a place to stay.
After the house was completed by my children, I relocated to my hometown to end my life's journey there.
While I was going home, I noticed lots of development, in fact, it's still developing now and it's rapid. New infrastructures both government and private.
I even forgot the road to my father's compound.
At last, I celebrated my 70th birthday in my own house, in my father's land. It feels good to be home.
