<p>Hello everyone, before we start, a greeting to all those who read this kind of publication. I really appreciate all your interactions.</p>

<p>On this occasion I will share with you my playlist. Since I have talked about music on certain occasions, @edje has asked me to write a little about what I normally consume in terms of genres and songs. </p>



<p>Let's start with no order of preference.</p>

<h3>Funk/Groove</h3>

<p>The body needs these genres, the best parties have a good list of this style and it is not necessary to say that it encourages you enough.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Tim Legend - Soda City Funk.</p>



<h3>R&B/Soul</h3>

<p>These genres cannot be defined in words, just enjoy them.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Daniel Caesar - Get You ft. Kali Uchis | UMI - Remember Me | Jorja Smith - Lost & Found.</p>



<h3>Indie Pop</h3>

<p>This is a good Pop.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Men I Trust - Show Me How | Willow Smith - Wait a Minute.</p>


<h3>Dance/electrónica</h3>

<p>Epic.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b>  Daft Punk - Digital Love. </p>


<h3>Electro/House</h3>

<p> Super necessary in the playlist.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Lemaitre - Higher.</p>


<h3>Indigo Chill</h3>

<p>This genre is super relaxing.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Galdive – Nescience.</p>


<h3>Hip Hop/Rap</h3>

<p>If we know that as such hip-hop is not considered a music genre but rather a culture. Well all the musical genres within this <i>hip-hop</i> culture like <i>bom bap</i> among others are very good.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Canserbero – Uno por Ellas [Apa y Can] | Lil Uzi Vert - XO Tour Llif3 | Mura Masa - Love$ick (Official Video) ft. A$AP Rocky.</p>


<h3>Neo soul/hip hop/rap</h3>

<p>Tyler, the creator.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Tyler, The Creator - 911 / Mr. Lonely.</p>


<h3> Techno/Dark Ambient </h3>

<i>Underground.</i>

<p><p><b>Song example:</b> Gesaffelstein - Opr </p>


<h3>Reggea</h3>

<p>Necessary for the soul.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Bob Marley - Red Red Wine .</p>



<h3>Grunge</h3>

<p>Music made by garage bands. yeah.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Pixies - Where Is My Mind?. </p>



<h3>Rock/Alternative Rock</h3>

<p>These are genres that I normally listen to from time to time. </p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Red Hot Chili Peppers - Aeroplane. </p>


<h3>Indie rock</h3>

<p> My favorite rock.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b>  Crumb - Locket</p>


<h3>Melodic death metal</h3>

<p>A genre simply great for its creations and style.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Dethklok - Skyhunter.</p>



<h3>Nu Metal</h3>

<p>I have always liked this genre since I was very young. Every time I hear this genre a beer magically appears in my hand. Time to drink.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b>  Korn - Freak On a Leash | Slipknot - Duality.</p>



<h3>Metal Alternativo</h3>

<p><i>Taste.</i></p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Deftones - Cherry Waves.</p>


<h3>Progressive Metal</h3>

<p><i>Taste.</i></p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> TOOL - The Pot.</p>



<h3>Salsa</h3>

<p>Salsa percussion is the best .</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Oscar D´Leon - LLoraras.</p>


<h3>Merengue/Hip-Hop</h3>

<p>These people knew what they were doing. And the video clip of the example song is <i>10/10.</i></p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Proyecto Uno - El Tiburon.</p>



<h3>Alternative/Independent</h3>

<p><i>So good.</i></p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Alt-J - Taro | Puma Blue - Moon Undah Water.</p>
 

<h3>Alternative Electronic</h3>
<p><i>Just say, "yes".</i> Party, party.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Mura Masa - Firefly</p>

<h3>Aurora - Singer-songwriter</h3>
<p>Aurora is simply great, her performance, her compositions, her voice, is simply something I never tired of hearing. Its genres are <i>pop</i>, <i>synthpop</i>, <i>folk</i>, <i> baroque pop</i>,  <i>art pop </i>. I couldn't classify it within its genres since I don't listen to any more artists of those genres. </p>

<p><b>Song example:</b>  Aurora - Runaway </p>

<p>These are the genres I usually listen to recreationally. If I start to place even those I listen to by composition study (like for example classical music among others) I would never finish this post. I am always discovering sounds.</p>

<p>Anyway I will put a classic one to give an example.</p>

<h3>Classical Music</h3>
<p>Feelings in each of your written notes. Music of Romanticism.</p>

<p><b>Song example:</b> Étude in A minor Op. 25 No. 11 'Winter Wind' – Chopin.</p>

<p>As a child I consumed a lot of classical music on a daily basis. </p>

Little late for my reaction (but what is late in terms of lifespan) but better late than never, they say :)
WOOHOO, you listen to a whole wide range of styles! I thought I did, but you beat me, I think. Grunge, Metal are not on my list, though I can appreciate (some of) the music in those genres.

Aurora: Agree with you. Beautiful voice. Just discovered I didn't had here listed in my Spotify; Now added, obviously :)

Techno: Interesting track. Will have to listen more by this French DJ/producer. Don't know him. Noticed he made a I Love Techno compilation album. An event I've been to many times in the past. "Hurt You" and "Lost in the Fire" tracks are played gazillion times in Spotify, but these are not my taste. Opr is (obviously) played at least 10 times less than aforementioned tracks :)

Classical: You ever listened to Canto Ostinato? Classical music composed back in the 70s, though I see this piece the bridge between classical music and minimal electronic music, like techno (the proper underground rave type, not the today's popular mass market techno).

Great, I will listen to this classical music thing you mention. 

About metal I started with "Apocalyptica - Nothing else Matters", listening more clearly each note develops your ear and when you listen to it in the metal version you already understand what it's about.

Thnaks but no thanks, I've been through this and its not my thing at all. Have been to metal parties even, loved it for the event. One time it was supporting a colleague playing in a metal band (I think it was grunge actually), another time to some large party. Obviously listened to more from the genre at home and other places. But no, I'll not go and try again to embrase the genre/style 😉
