The culinary art has a very diverse history and is transformed through each year with ideas, recipes and new books with the aim of satisfying and improving our palates. The function of the kitchen is food and this fact goes back to the very beginnings of humanity. A little history
In the age of primitive man, food was based on all the products that the earth could provide: fruits, seeds and plants. Later, small easy-to-hunt animals and birds' eggs were added, as well as some species of insects.

The first flavors and tastes of food were provided by the salt water of the sea, since the ancient man sanitized the meat and fruits to remove the excesses of dust and dirt. Thus he managed to discover the pleasant taste of salt that he later combined with different existing herbs.

The first cookbook

The Roman gastronome Caius Apicius , published in the year 62 of the treatise "De re conquinaria", where he described the feasts of Emperor Claudius and his successive wives, Messalina and Agrippina. This famous publication became the first culinary book in all of history.

Apacius was considered a true aristocrat of the first century and a lover of good food to such an extent that he had the courage to commit suicide when faced with serious economic problems. He even spent astronomical figures on real banquets , he even offered one of opiparous type prior to his own poisoning. The book contained an excellent compilation of foods and culinary recipes with which the most delicious and required products of the time were achieved.
