##
Making it fit in
##
My dream with crypto is to make it all fit into my normal life, where it becomes part of the many things I do or want to do on a daily basis. Right now, that's not really an option because I need to focus on crypto to develop the skillsets and knowledge that I will need for the future.
It takes a concerted effort at the moment for me to trade and to be doing crypto work. I have to think about everything I'm doing, spend time analyzing and evaluating, and then asking questions and thinking about the answers. Everything has to go through my head and stew a bit before I can do anything with the information. My goal is for crypto to become somewhat passive and with a lower attention requirement.
However, is this actually possible?

##
Crypto never takes the easy route
##

Crypto markets are 24 hour and can be completely unpredictable. They can strike at any time of the night, or when you're busy, or not at home. They can turn the tables on you when you're least prepared, and so the only way to combat this is to always be prepared. However, this is easier said than done.
Being prepared means being alert and ready at all times. That means your sleep will be affected. Nothing worse than big moves happening whilst you're sleeping and you miss out. That puts a damper on plenty of things. Already, my sleep schedule is completely messed up. My sleep periods are now shrinking and I take more of them. It is very very annoying to zombify at 11pm and then crawl up to the break room for a 30 minute nap, after which I'll wake up still feeling terrible for the next two hours.
This of course affects your health. I think I've entered a sort of state of permanent tiredness as a result of this irregular napping. I don't feel nearly as much energy as I used to, which is fair because trading doesn't require much physical exertion. I just sit and stare at a screen all the time. Not good for the body. Less energy means less motivation to try out new things or to do lots of things at a time.
It's all one big balancing act to try and get it all together. I'm not ready to be in a position where I can reduce my engagement with crypto, but with lots of work and smart learning, I'll get there.
