New York State Assembly passes bill blocking new Crypto mining facility based on non-renewable energy sources

Hello lovely people of HIVE community. Hopefully you will be enjoying your life with good health and spirit. Huge success of crypto currency during 2020 and 2021 soared mining facility.

Unfortunately crypto mining is an energy extensive process. The most unfortunate part is that majority of the mining facilities is hydrocarbon based which increased carbon foot prints and making environment vulnerable. New York State assembly acknowledged the importance of clean and green environment. 



NY state assembly passed bill blocking new crypto mining facility that depends upon on non-renewable energy sources. Anna Kelles sponsored the bill. It will impose two year suspension on new crypto mining facility that use carbon  based energy source. 

In my opinion, it is a good move by New York State Assembly. Infact, I am in favor of banning existing facility based on hydrocarbons. In this way we can make this world for our future generation.
