<h3>Steemit sees some Improvements! </h3>

You all might have noticed that there have been some small changes on Steemit during the last weeks, which made it look better and easier to use in some ways. It was definitely time for some changes on the Platform and fortunately the Team noticed it and took respective actions. 

<br><h3>What´s new so far?</h3>

Until today we could see the change on our Profile Pages, which included some styling on the font (Shadow effects) and the possibility to set a Banner in order to replace the typical Steemit Blue and be able to personalize your own blog a bit more. 

Here´s for example the Banner I´m using right now, which just suits my Profile perfectly and as well features my Baby @Bellyrub, which by the way is more powerful than ever and waiting to push your Posts into the Sky ;)

Besides this we could just recently see a new feature after pressing the Power-down button. Whenever you pressed it before you just initiated a Power down on all your SP but from now on you´ll be able to choose the amount of SP you want to Power down and even see the Steem you´ll get on a weekly basis. That´s quite a handy feature, whenever you e.g. want to use some Steem to get a higher SP Delegation.

Last but not least there´s now an official Steemit Shop selling some shirts or mugs, etc. for your hard earned Steem. So stop by and have a look either via the Steemit Profile @thesteemitshop or via the website www.thesteemitshop.com

<br><h3>What´s still to come?</h3>

At the end of August there was an announcement on @Steemitblog on a Mobile Application, which is making big steps towards going live soon. Unfortunately, there were no further Details revealed until today but we may expect a beautiful, easy to use and secure application according to the official announcement. I´m pretty excited for that and impatiently waiting for its release :)

Despite the App that´s up to launch soon and the smaller changes on the Steemit frontend, like the Profile Banners or the new Power-down slider we may probably see much more to be implemented during the next weeks after the Development team got some further forces to push things forward.
