I Am Incomplete Without Them ~ LOH Contest #90

Funny how I rarely participate in the **Ladies Of Hive** contests but bumping into this very one, I couldn't think twice about joining. The first question seemed to state literally everything about me and what I love doing.
And so I made up my mind to give it a try, here we go;

>1๏ธโƒฃ **Tell us about your passions, such as painting, dancing, drawing, knitting, taking pictures, etc. The sky is the limit โ€” anything that makes you happy is a passion!**

Will it be weird if I tell you guys that everything on this list makes me extremely happy? Yes, these are my list of things that make me happy and I don't even need to emphasize any.

## PAINTING/DRAWING
Both goes together, I can never get bored of drawing, I was birthed with this passion, and I didn't just pick it somewhere along life's road or journey. It's something that has always been there since birth. I drew from the belly if you ask me๐Ÿ˜‚ I had paintings and drawings from when I was still a child and I've always been known for this right from my nursery school level to my tertiary. If there is one thing I am easily identified with, it is drawing. I have shared most of my works a few times too.

Thankfully, I met digital art and I didn't have to bother myself so much about not being able to purchase all the expensive drawing tools I needed to aid my drawing career. All I needed was just a smartphone and a stylus pen to start building on what I loved doing. Recently, I have been intentional about sketching every day to improve in some ways since I am self-learning. I used to believe this passion was more like just a hobby, but I have come to realize it is more than just a hobby, I am hoping to make a career out of it too someday if I don't get entangled with other things.

## DANCING
This comes next on my list. Dancing is another thing that gives me in-depth joy and peace. Only a few people knew this part of me, and that is because I was always shy and reserved. More like an introvert. I never danced in a crowd or where I get too much attention. But I love dancing as much as I love drawing.

Some people still doubt I can dance cause I don't look like it๐Ÿ˜‚ while others that have seen most of my dance videos still couldn't believe I was able to dance.
I still don't dance in a lot of places, I am kinda still reserved and I only dance when I am in the mood to vibe to particular music.
I started officially dancing at the age of 8 years when I was in my nursery/primary level in a cultural group in my school. I remember always pleading to join the dance group but I was not given the chance until when I was in primary four (4), it was a dream come through and since then I've been joining a dance group both in school and church.
I will share a few of my dance attires back then in high school (don't laugh at my funny attires lol)

## KNITTING
Do you know that feeling of joy when you accomplish something after so many trials and attempts? This is the joy I had when I could finally knit. My sister and cousins all knew how to knit when we were just little children. I usually watch them knit, turn the needle, or knitting pin, but I couldn't do it myself.
I remember when I pleaded with my sister to teach me how to do it but she refused telling me I shouldn't bother her and that she wanted to complete her project (she was making a bag)
One faithful day when she went to fetch water and left her knitting pin and wool at home, I stole the opportunity to cut a part of her wool and then used her knitting pin to struggle on my own, it was frustrating at first but when I finally got the tricks, I was so happy. I went to show my sister and cousin what I did and she reprimanded me though about cutting her wool but who cares? I was able to knit finally, that was all that mattered.

Going to high school, my classmates all were into knitting but not wool this time but beads. I did love it and I was interested in learning. I got closer to a few of them and watched them and how they did it. With time I was able to do the same. Now it was finally my turn to knit what my sister didn't know how to knit just yet. I flaunted my bead-knitting skill with pride๐Ÿ˜‚ but soon, she too also knew how to make beads but not as much as I knew it. She loved knitting wool more than beads and I on the other hand loved beads more than wool. She had a lot of knitted wool projects while I had more of the beading projects.
I can't find most of our projects but these are a few I could get my hands on.

## PHOTOGRAPHY 
I believe this is what they meant by **taking pictures** ;). Have you ever met me in person? If yes, then you don't even have to guess. I love taking pictures of whatsoever. Pictures of myself, of nature, of literally everything. I just love taking pictures and I am so unapologetic about it. 

Just capturing every detail and moment gives me great joy. I could spend my whole time capturing and working on my shots if I want. I love photography like no man's business. I can't get enough of it but most times I am hindered by my devices. I don't have a handy camera and my phone camera lens doesn't really give me the picture quality I desire and so most times, I get discouraged but never give up!
Have I given you a snapshot before? Oh my! You will just have to compliment me on this no matter who you are. I have received great and good feedback on my shots and this gives me joy too.
I love photography, I love taking pictures without mercy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I take pictures on almost every occasion or in places/locations, except and only if I am not in the mood for it. Either way; **I love capturing the moment**

Lol, actually I am a jack of many trades๐Ÿ˜‚ so my blog is not specifically about one thing or a preferred niche.
 
And to answer your question, yes
I started on ~~Steemit~~ as one lol. And I have been posting my artworks here on hive as well for a while now. Just that I don't do that often since it's such a huge work to even complete a single sketch๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ข
