Curation rewards experiment. Only voting after 30 minutes.

I earn a really really small amount of curation rewards. That is mostly because I have a low Steem Power of only 50.

However, the fact that you can earn some Steem Power just by upvoting your favourite content is one of the things that make Steemit awesome.

With enough Steem Power you can basically earn a decent amount of SP doing nothing but clicking that upvote button. 

I don't know the optimal strategy and Steemit curation rewards depend on too many factors. One thing I know is that if you vote 30 minutes or more after the post has been published you will get 100% of the curation reward as opposed to voting between 0-30 minutes when some of that curation will go to the author. 

So for the next week I will only upvote posts at least 30 minutes old and see how much I earn from curation.

I will compare the results with the amount of curation I earned this past week which is a stunning 0.020 SP and when I upvoted whenever I felt like it.

Hey mate. You are right. I totally forgot about this. I made about 0.050 SP in curation the next week so 2.5x more if I upvoted only after 30 minutes.
