Last late Saturday night i was reading the conversation of sir @otom  and dear @fycee on the @steemitpowerupph group chat about trading using the actual steemit platform . Of course the *crypto-enthu-wannabe* me is again amazed that there was an actual area to do trading in steemit. Well maybe i didn't explore the navigation bar ,that's why don't know about that , or more possibly that i don't have an interest of going more into crypto before.

*When i joined their conversaton, i sent that screenshot to ask if i am in the right place,LOL . And yes I am they said . So then they explained to me how to do a simple buy and sell using **STEEM or SBD**   dear @fycee advised me to have an experiment with 1 SBD or Steem.*

*Tried buying 1steem for 0.91 SBD , as sir @otom says **buy low**.*

*So there i had my order placed*

*After refreshing it , still nothing , so i then called sir @otom 's attention and told him still nothing , he immediately checked the market and found out that there's only 1 Steem available , and there advised me to cancel it for it make took a long time to processed it.*



**Simple steps to get you into the steemit market page and trade ( this is via mobile phone )**

*1️⃣ Go to your steemitaccount on steemit.com ,then click on the menu bar at the upper right corner, should look like the pic below*

*2️⃣ Click on currency market , then you'll have the market page open*

*3️⃣then there on the pic you'll see the bars for Price : put in the desired price you would want ,of course lower than the usual SBd equivalent to 1 steem ; on the AMOUNT : type in how many Steem you want to buy ; and in TOTAL ,it would be automaticaly filled in same as the entries on Price. then click BUY STEEM*

*you see there the lowest asking price made by other traders, you can use that as your guide for the price you wanted*

*4️⃣After clicking on buy steem you'll have that confirmation message , then the notification that your order has been placed. And you'll have it listed on the open orders are below*

**You may want to check *coinmarketcap.com* to see the availability of steem, and if ever only few are available you can cancel your order, like what is shown in the photos**

This might be very simple thing for others specially for those who are really into crypto , but i am just so happy to have learned new thing and gained new knowledge that is definitely useful for me and even for you guys.
