In der dieswöchigen Challenge steht der *Molten Ash Golem* im Mittelpunkt. Der *Molten Ash Golem* ist eine Karte mit Potenzial, welche ich von mal zu mal lieber spiele. Ich persönlich mag ihn sehr, aber heute wollen wir uns den Golem gemeinsam anschauen.

# Die Statcard
Der *Molten Ash Golem* ist eine rare Karte des Elementes Feuer. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Fernkampfkarte und besitzt die Fähigkeit *Close Range* welche dem Golem ermöglicht auch im Nahkampf von der Fernkampfattacke Gebrauch machen zu können, was im Normalfall nicht möglich wäre. Die weiteren Stats sind durchwachsen, in bestimmten Rulesets jedoch sehr gut einsetzbar. Mit 9 Leben hat der *Molten Ash Golem* eine hohe Überlebenschance und kann auch so einigen Schaden wegtanken. Mein Golem ist Level 4, also SMAX, und verfügt dadurch über 2 Schaden, 2 Schnelligkeit und 10 Leben.

# The statcard
The *Molten Ash Golem* is a rare Fire card. It is a ranged atack card and has the ability *Close Range* which allows the Golem to make use of the ranged attack even in melee, which would not be possible normally. The other stats are mixed, but can be used very well in certain rulesets. With 9 life the *Molten Ash Golem* has a high chance of survival and can also tank away some damage. My Golem is level 4, so SMAX, and has 2 damage, 2 speed and 10 life.

# Die Rulesets
OH NEIN! Das neue Ruleset *Fire and Regret*. Schlimmer konnte es fast schon nicht kommen. Jetzt dreht sich in meinem Spiel alles um ein Fernkampf-Monster und dann wird auch das Worst-Case-Szenario Ruleset angewandt. Jedes Mal wenn der *Molten Ash Golem* Schaden verursacht, wird ein Schaden auf ihn wieder zurückgeworfen. Gut, dass er über viele Lebenspunkte verfügt. Das zweite Ruleset *Equalizer* hebt die Lebenspunkte aller Monster auf 10, meines *Molten Ash Golems* weil er die meisten Lebenspunkte hatte.

# The rulesets
OH NO! The new ruleset *Fire and Regret*. It almost couldn't get any worse. Now my game is all about a ranged monster and then the worst case scenario ruleset is also applied. Every time *Molten Ash Golem* deals damage, damage is reflected back at him. It's a good thing he has a lot of health. The second ruleset *Equalizer* raises the health of all monsters to 10, my *Molten Ash Golem* because he had the most health.

# Die Aufstelleung
Mein Setup war relativ simpel und ich setzte auf eine Standardaufstellung. Tank und Reach auf die ersten beiden Positionen, gefolgt von Support- und Fernkampfmonstern. Der Fiend soll den Golem vor Sneak Attacken schützen. Unten meine Aufstellung und die des Gegners.

# The lineup
I kept my lineup relatively simple by using a standard setup. Tank and Reach on the first two positions, followed by support and ranged attack monsters. The fiend in last position protects the Golem from sneak attacks. Below is my setup and that of the opponent.

# Das Spiel
Habe ich nicht eben gesagt, dass es schlimmer nicht kommen konnte? Oooooh doch! Grandmaster Rathe! Das bedeutet, dass ich durch das Ruleset *Fire and Regret* nicht nur einen Schaden bekommen, sondern gleich 2 wegen der *Amplify* Fähigkeit. Die Strategie war einfach. Tanks vorne, Fernkämpfer hinten und der Fiend zum Schluss um die erste Sneak Attacke abzuwehren. So weit so gut. Das Setup meines Gegners war jedoch sehr gut und @Dragonghost hat verdient gewonnen. No Excuses, dieses Mal habe ich verloren. Er hat das Feld von hinten aufgerollt.

Didn't I just say that it couldn't get any worse? Oooooh yes it could! Grandmaster Rathe! That means I get not just one damage from the *Fire and Regret* ruleset, but 2 because of the *Amplify* ability. Tanks in front, ranged in the back and the Fiend at the end to fend off the first Sneak Attack. So far so good. However, my opponent's setup was very good and @Dragonghost deserved to win. No Excuses, this time I lost. He rolled up the field from behind.
