It's not that the government WOULD use this reasoning - THEY ARE using this reasoning and the public is supporting them because they know NOTHING about crypto (or 99% of them don't). I am not saying - give the government access - I'm saying we can shut these slime-bags down ourselves - without being babysat by the government.

I agree on the idea of self regulation. Can you tell me what it looks like? I figured it looks like exchanges closing accounts. Is there any other method of self regulation? Not surprised at all that government regulators will enter the space. I don't see how they cannot with so much money moving around.
