When in Doubt Make Potato Pancakes
The last 24 hours of my evacuacation has been a whirlwind so I will try to catch up and bloggity blog. Today is day 19.

Yesterday started with a Dr. Bronner's donation of amazing soap bars, which is equal to its weight in gold for me. If I had the choice of a gold coin or a hot bath, I would choose bath everytime.

After my refreshing bath, I was renewed and could start the day, we had decided to celebrate the last night of Hanakuh with our family. I  am half Russian Jewish on my dad's side which technically means Im not Jewish at all but I still know how to cook a good potato pancake.

My mom and I decorated the table at the house we are staying at and hung Christmas balls for her Italian Catholic side and set the menorah out for my dad's side.

Making homemade applesauce and frying tons of potatoes until they were crispy and delicious.

We lit the menorah, laughed, goofed around and pretty much forgot about everything that seemed important so much that I forgot to blog yesterday....so when in doubt make potato pancakes and after you eat them you will experience this magic ๐Ÿ”ฎ
