¡Hola amantes del horror! Primero que nada, les damos la bienvenida a nuestro segundo episodio de este podcast llamado _**“La Cápsula del Terror”**_, donde estaremos charlando y debatiendo sobre diferentes temas relacionados al _género del horror_.

Hoy, en particular, el tema elegido provocará cierta sensación de **nostalgia** entre los espectadores y cierto **horror** en otros ya que hablaremos sobre **una serie que marcó la infancia y adultez** de muchos  amantes del género  y, también, de aquellos otros que no son tan amantes del género pero que, de igual forma, con esta serie lograron dar el paso a consumir otro tipo de contenido debido a su excelente producción que llamaba la atención de cualquiera que sintonizara el canal donde era transmitida. 

Un día como hoy, pero _**en 1993**_, se estrenaba la versión animada de la famosa serie _**“Cuentos de la Cripta”**_, una  serie estadounidense de terror que fue inspirada en el comic _“Tales from the crypt”_. Esta fue una versión más para el público infantil ya que dicho comic, era sumamente explícito y cero censurado, no apto para todo público. En _**1989**_, se estrenaba la _**versión live action**_ que duraría hasta 1996, y es de esta versión de la cual hablaremos hoy. Estaremos debatiendo sobre aquel live action de Cuentos de la Cripta, tan  crudo pero a la vez real y que ponía los pelos de punta a cualquiera, sobre todo, con el tan famoso muñeco que presentaba cada capítulo: el recordado _**Guardián de la Cripta**_. Aquella marioneta que emulaba un cadáver en pleno estado de descomposición, asemejando a una momia muy bizarra, grotesca con movimientos toscos, podía despertar todo tipos de emociones escalofriantes en ti con tan solo escucharlo, incluso, antes de que comenzara la historia del día, ya él te adentraba en ella con una atmósfera pesada e incómoda, pero a la cual ingresabas igual con la idea de que pasarías un buen rato o… quizás no tanto.

_**Si eres fan de esta serie, quédate con nosotros a revivirla un poco**_ para así sentir aquella nostalgia que nosotros sentimos al hacer este episodio. Si no te gusta la serie o simplemente no la conoces, te invitamos a conocerla ya que no te vas a arrepentir pues se trata de ese tipo de series que nunca logras olvidar. Hello horror lovers! First of all, we welcome you to our second episode of this podcast called _**"The Horror Capsule "**_, where we will be chatting and discussing about different topics related to the _horror genre_.

Today, in particular, the chosen topic will provoke a certain sense of **nostalgia** among viewers and some **horror** in others since we will talk about **a series that marked the childhood and adulthood** of many lovers of the genre and, also, of those others who are not so fond of the genre but who, in the same way, with this series managed to take the step to consume another type of content due to its excellent production that caught the attention of anyone who tuned in to the channel where it was transmitted. 

On a day like today, but _**in 1993**_, the animated version of the famous series _**"Tales from the Crypt "**_, an American horror series that was inspired by the comic _"Tales from the crypt"_, premiered. This was a version more for children's audiences, since the comic was extremely explicit and uncensored, not suitable for all audiences. In _**1989**_, the _**live action**_ version was released, which would last until 1996, and it is this version that we will talk about today. We will be discussing that live action of Tales from the Crypt, so raw but at the same time real and that made anyone's hair stand on end, especially with the famous puppet that presented each chapter: the remembered _**Crypt Guardian**_. Para ser sincero, nunca llegué a ver los cuentos de la Cripta, a pesar de que soy fanático del terror, pero si lo recuerdo haber escuchado en aquel tiempo.

Pero soy fanático de los film de terror de los años 80, como el que mencionó el amigo @aderneycarrillo, pesadilla en la calle del infierno del famoso Freddy Crueger, que es una de las sagas de terror más terroríficas e impactantes de los todos los tiempos. Aunque de niño veía muchas películas de terror como la profecía, el exorcista, Halloween, viernes 13, entre otras.

Tengo 31 años, no viví la época de los **80** lo cual me hubiera encantado, ya que todo para esa época era literalmente único y se podía disfrutar de muchas películas y series que nos sumergían dentro de tantas emociones que como espectadores quedábamos encantando y si el género te gusta ya te podías dar por buen servido. **Tales from the Crypt** nos abrió la venta a un mundo caótico donde todo podía pasar sin miedo y con la crudeza necesaria para trasmitir el mensaje si era necesario. Lástima que no le echo un vistazo, la verdad es super recomendable espero que la pueda ver en lo que tenga una oportunidad no tiene perdida.

En efecto **A Nightmare on Elm Street** dio mucho de que hablar y saco muchos sustos y noches sin descanso, yo fui víctima de muchas pesadillas gracias a la saga de películas que siendo sincero, no todas eran perfectas, pero su gran mayoría nos dejaba satisfechos y a nivel visual era algo de otro mundo lo que aumentaba el terror.

Recuerdo de niño los muñecos impactaban por la forma en que se movían, en mi caso se es falso pero un trabajo bien hecho hace dudar, requiere mucho esfuerzo y ya lamentablemente se van por el camino fácil que es las computadoras y si el trabajo esta bien hecho igual impacta con una buena magia del cine. Las moralejas me agradaban mucho en los capítulos, que buenos tiempos viendo esta serie junto a mi papa, nostalgia de la buena

El trabajo de **Kevin Yagher** para esa época estaba a otro nivel y el ojo humano no estaba tan curado como en la actualidad, lo que fue de gran ayuda porque lo hacía más real. La época dorada del Cine no tiene comparación y si vemos películas de finales de los **80** la seguimos disfrutando como si fuera la primera vez.

Que brutal que tuviste la oportunidad de verlo junto a tu padre, eso es una nota compartir esos momentos únicos y con el pasar de los años tener la oportunidad de recordar y revivir recuerdos.

Al parecer no eres la única que pensaba que esto era una canción jaja, nuestra  _Reina de los Demonios_ pensaba igual. Esta serie vale mucho la pena que la veas, es todo un clásico de la televisión de los 90's, ¡así que te recomendamos con los ojos cerrados que la veas! ❤
