If you don't love yourself, who will?

Life is very challenging and we are often occupied with so many things that seem to drag us down that we forget to live in the moment. We are more concerned about loving others than loving our own self but we forget that in order to truly love others, you must first learn how to love yourself.

Life has made us our biggest critique, constantly comparing ourselves with others and never taking a moment to appreciate how far we've come. Every little success deserves to be celebrated. Every little victory even the mundane things like not eating junk food a whole week.

When you show yourself love, you become happier. Love doesn't have to come from someone else. It has to come from you first. Sometimes the love we seek isn't out there.

You just have to understand that life is too short to spend your days not doing the things that make you happy or fulfilled. You don't even need to break a bank to show yourself just how much you love yourself. Pampering oneself, spending quality time doing what makes you happy, going for a massage and even buying oneself gifts or a vacation are ways you can show love to yourself.

As for me, sometimes I take myself shopping and spend good money. Afterall, I am the one working so hard for the money. Other times, I take myself out on a dinner date or a movie date and I always feel so satisfied at the end of the day.</div>

Loving ourselves is what we miss out on most times because we are focused in meeting up with the standard of what people want and not what we want.

Also, some people fall easy to intimidation and when that happens we try to be like them or do things to feel among when we can just be ourselves and find out own true happiness.

It is so underrated and taken for granted. How can you give what you don't have??

You cannot give love if you do not have nice for yourself. It just does not work. 

Although, self love can be challenging to imbibe, when you have (fake) lives of others that portray otherwise. 

But one just has to find it and own it.
