업비트, 'FATF 합의 존중' XMR,DASH,ZEC 등 유의종목 지정 검토 후 상장폐지
안녕하세요. @zzings입니다.

업비트에서 다크코인 6종 모네로(XMR), 대시(DASH), 지캐시(ZEC), 헤이븐(XHV), 비트튜브(TUBE), 피벡스(PIVX) 을 거래 유의 종목으로 지정했습니다.

업비트는 소명 기간 동안 유의 종목 지정 사유가 소명되지 않을 경우, 거래 지원을 종료한다고 합니다. 업비트의 이같은 조치는, 국제자금세탁방지기구(FATF)의 권고안을 준수하기 위함입니다.

FATF의 권고안은 간단히 정리하면 아래와 같습니다.

- 정부가 관할하는 서비스제공업체가, 거래 당사자의 정확한 신원 정보를 파악하고 있는지 감독해야하고, 자산을 거래할 때 보내는 쪽과 받는 쪽 거래자까지 신원 정보를 가지고 있어야 하며, 필요하다면 공유 및 제공을 해야한다

6월에 이와 같은 규제안이 나왔을때, 거래소들이 제대로 운영되기 어려워, 현실성이 없다고 반발이 컷지만, FATF는 규제를 강행하였습니다.

 결국 국내 No.1 거래소이자 글로벌로 비즈니스를 확장중인 업비트도  규제안을 준수할 수 밖에 없게 되었습니다.

모네로와, 대쉬는 글로벌 시가총액 20위권안에 드는 메이저 코인이지만, FATF의 강력한 규제로 인해 글로벌 거래소들은 어쩔수 없는 선택을 하게 될것 같습니다.

다크코인의 이런 상황은, 안타까운일이긴 하지만, 규제안으로 인해 기업들은 제도화 되면서, 불록체인 산업에 뛰어들려는 기업들의  성장은 가속화 될것 같습니다.

과연, 앞으로 모네로와 대쉬등을 비롯한 다크코인들은 어떻게 될지 궁금해지네요.
