Technology always has a good side and a bad one.  This is the nature of it.

Too many fear AI believing that AI will be like humans.  Yes it is learning how to think so it will be intelligent.  Humans are not intelligent, they are emotional.  Few decisions are rational.  We operate from fear, anger, greed and transpose these emotions onto AI.  This is the Terminator scenario where AI could be threatened.  How does AI know how to feel threatened?  How can it feel?

We are already merging with AI.  At present most of us carry around smart phone which expand out knowledge bases to all that mankind has.  The fact it is separate from it is only temporary.  But what about those with pacemakers?  That is AI in the body...at they still human?
