Christmas in November? Times have changed in America. Now relatively few office parties have lots of alcohol, but back in the nineties I went to an office Christmas party with free-flowing booze that almost ended in disaster. One of our clients very nearly fell out of a window in our sixth-story office.

It is okay if it is an unimportant client. There are generally no clients at these events and the free drinks were limited to 3 for us. It was at a hotel bar and nightclub though, so drinks flowed.
