Just like in life the whales rule the ocean, with the killer whale being the most ferocious of the whales. There are many killer whales here on Steemit. They fight amongst themselves, they will destroy a minnow that they dont like in a moments notice.
 There are also some whales that might seem benevolent, but remember that the way they became a whale is by  the love of money. AND the love of money is the root of all evil.

A whale can be helpful to you if you kiss the tail end of it, cower to it like a dog to its owner. But remember they will not like you much if you don't keep giving them your steem backed dollars.
