OK, cool. The amount transferred would be public, but the price would not be. That is an interesting combination; you could certainly overpay to obscure the bid, or use it for signalling even though the bid itself was sealed.

Or you could do it like @Minnowbooster does and keep a balance for each user. I think @bid.bot maybe does that too, I haven't gotten around to trying them yet.
