Coingate reported on the progress in the implementation of the Lightning Network
Cryptocurrency processing service CoinGate started processing Lightning payments for more than 100 merchants.

"This is a completely new technology. There will inevitably be bugs and errors either in our implementation of the payment module or in the Lightning Network Protocol. The errors that we find will help the development of technology in General," said technical Director CoinGate Rutis, Balaskas.

Among the companies that took part in the pilot launch of Lightning payments were sellers of a variety of products-from organic food to VDS servers and entertainment content for adults.

We remind that the launch of Lightning wallet for merchants was announced at the end of last month.
