Berlin-based startup MADONNA will start the whitelisting process for presale pax tokens on August 1. The upcoming campaign will be the first major ICO to be held on the Lisk blockchain.

The MADANA team is developing an open platform for data analysis, focusing on their privacy. The blockchain-based Lisk ecosystem will allow users to control their data themselves and offer solutions for their anonymous monetization.

In addition, the project aims to provide data processing methods that will comply with the provisions described in the may EU regulation on the protection of General information (GDPR). This, in turn, will allow the creation of new business models for future decentralized applications (DApps).

"One of the main advantages of using Lisk is the technology of sidechains. By deploying their own sidechains, dApps can be better designed and scaled without the fear that other dApps running on other chains will have a negative impact on them. The upcoming release of Lisk Core 1.0 will be an important step in the implementation of This technology," MADANA blog says.

The startup team also notes the role of Lisk CEO max Kordek, who from the very beginning acted as his Advisor, and in February this year invested in MADANA 200 thousand euros from his own Fund to invest in promising Lisk sidechains.

ICO MADANA is conducted with the approval of the Federal financial supervision authority of Germany (BaFin). As they say on the campaign page, the project has installed a hardcap in the amount of 37.5 million euros. The main stage of the ICO will start on September 1, 2018.

We will remind, earlier this year analyst with the independent rating Agency Weiss Ratings Juan Villaverde criticized the excessive, in his view, the focus of the platform Lisk on siddaiah, also putting into question its competitiveness among other leading platforms to develop blockchain-based applications, such as Ethereum, EOS and Cardano.

Representatives of Lisk, however, did not agree with this assessment, noting that the platform has tools to simplify the work of developers who want to create a new sidechain or use an existing one.
