Both networks are built to strongly leverage their underlying blockchains and cryptocurrencies. Besides Ethereum and Bitcoin, the two most widely used blockchains, the third major player is Grahpene created by Dan Larimer and runs services like Bitshares, Steemit and soon EOS.
