I do not think there is a direct method of Mining Steem - although really this is what we are doing on Steemit - mining Steem by creating blog posts, upvoting others posts and replying to posts. As I mention above some of my mining machines are pointed at a mining pool which I have instructed to pay out my bitcoin rewards to Blocktrades which then converts it to the relevant amount of Steem and deposits it into my wallet. I am them using this to invest in my posts to get greater rewards and help build my steem power.
