Well anything self-serving interest says is dumb. I think the demand won't go. Why would people stop using it when they can get it cheaper now? Demand will change once Bitcoin changes, i.e.: higher / lower transaction fees, faster/slower network etc. Price won't effect the supply / demand relationship at all in my humble opinion.
