Valuable lesson and great information.  In law school, my best professor always advised to read the two inch thick text book and avoid the 1/4 inch summaries.  The information in the text book wasn't of key importance--sure we were tested on it, but the analysis of dense subject matter was the long term benefit.  I'm finding the same thing here, your conclusions provide short term solution for the current market, but understanding your rationale will hopefully build a foundation for successful traders in the months that lie ahead.
