That's an excellent news. I wonder what took them so long to do it?! IMO, four things have been stopping Btc from being used as currency : 1 - high fees. It was too stupid. 2 - slow transactions. The original 10 minutes was barely bearable. When it started to take hours and days, it was not acceptable at all. 3 - high volatility. 4 - scalability.
