I would highly recommend. Bought then in pound stretcher end of summer sale last year. 99p for 6 bags. Then bought 6 bags of cheap compost from Aldi and just topped them up as they grew. Saved on a lot of space as we only bought the house last year and I haven't had time to finish the garden yet.

are they pink fir apples, i grew them last year real tasty, one plant grew 1 giant mutant potato it looked like the elephant mans hand!

These are king Edwards. A very universal spud. Good for chips, mash and roast potatoes. They are a bit dry/powdery if over boiled for boiled potatoes. My early potatoes were Pentland Javelins a softer, white spud great in salads and great with skins on covered in butter with asparagus and salmon.
