In today's video we talk about the bitcoin diamond fork. Bitcoin diamond is just another bitcoin hard fork. From the looks of it it seems as if bitcoin is beginning to hard fork monthly as we already have bitcoin cash. bitcoin gold, bitcoin diamond, and we almost had bitcoin segwit2x. We also have other bitcoin hard forks coming up, including bitcoin silver, bitcoin unlimited, and super bitcoin. Bitcoin Diamond aims to fix three main problems, privacy, transactions speeds, and transaction costs. Bitcoin Diamond aims to bring privacy by hiding the bitcoin diamond balances of users and keeping bitcoin diamond transactions private. Bitcoin Diamonds wants to have fast transaction times and does this by increasing the bitcoin diamond block size to 8MB. Bitcoin Diamond also wishes to keep transaction costs low by increasing the supply of bitcoin diamond from 21 Million to 210 Million. Bitcoin Diamond is yet another bitcoin hard fork and personally is it hard for me to see bitcoin diamond making much of an impact as there are currently other bitcoin hard forks and cryptocurrencies / altcoins that already solved or are solving these issues already.
