RE: Bitconnect: almost no development at all. by godcomplex

I think it is possible to have a trading bot but I am not sure. What would stop Bitconnect from trading on their internal exchange between BTC and BCC? The liquidity from the loans would theoretically fuel the exchange? This is either a brilliant design or a pyramid but even if it is a pyramid, same could be said about Bitcoin. What matters is will it be sustainable? It very well could last for years. I am unable to say for sure that the economics and math don't work. How much volume does the internal exchange get? Clearly exchanges make quite a bit of money, probably enough to sustain those interest payments for some time, and if not then they could lower the interest. What if Bitconnect is building an exchange? I don't know.

It's funny, last night I was watching tv miniseries Madoff. One mathematician named Harry Markopolos took him one day to figure out that Madoff is a ponzi scheme. Why? Simply because Madoff was providing 1-2% a month without down month (exactly only 3% down months over the course of 3 decades). On real world its impossible to invest and never have a down month. Bernie provided 1-2% a month and its impossible, Bitconnect provides 1% a day.
