Greater goal - To be Part of Bitshares Community

Today I am happy to announce that I manage to achieve my goal 5000 Bitshares. Thank you so much everyone for supporting me on this journey. . . But, this isn't the end. I/We need to part of something much greater. Earning Bitshares is just a thing but to be part of Bitshares community. To vote for witnesses, to vote in workers proposal that is what I/we have to do to make Bitshares Community a greater place.

I've set my goal to reach 20,000 Bitshares and will continue to add more. This is to make sure that my vote can be worth even a fraction to help Bitshares Workers and Witnesses. We are not just investors that keeps our assets and dump them when we are done. Bitshares is like a government where we the investors are the ones who votes for the right people to help us achieve our goal.

If you have massive Bitshares you too can help the Bitshares Community by voting the right witnesses. If you ask me who is the witness I'm going to give my vote, I have decide to vote only for `billbutler-witness` for witness. For `chris4210`. For worker's proposal `Poll - BSIP26 - Refund Original Order Creation Fee on Cancel`.

For those who wanted to vote all you have to do is follow this instructions.

1. Click your account name.

2. Click vote.

3. Click weather to vote for `Witness`, `Committee` or `Workers`.

You need to create your own Bitshares wallet first. Your vote power will be determined by the total Bitshares you have in your wallet.

It's true that we need to vote for more witnesses. But as of now I'll try to learn more about them.

As for chris4210 mostly people doesn't care about third world countries such as ours(Philippines). Most doesn't seem to notice us. But we wanted to be part of growing blockchain industry. To make an effort to reach everyone across the globe is simply what makes us(the least) to be part of this community. 

As you can see the only gateway to enter crypto investment here in the Philippines is through Bitcoin. Imagine the fee we handle each time we in and out some of our money in the blockchain. For us fees like $10 is already a week food on our table.

@docmastery I closely monitor your big effort to promote BitShares and it's exchange. And I deeply agree with you that BitShares and all other DPOS algorithm based cryptos are technology leaders in crypto world. I wrote about that in [pros and cons of DEX exchanges](https://steemit.com/cryptocurriences/@tombort/why-irs-can-bust-you-on-centralized-exchanges-and-not-on-bitshares) post.

But I miss something in your campaign.

Today I go thought  your posts and seek a real reasons, why you set your goal to collect BTS. If thoroughly, you expect our support we need to know your manifest.

Don't misunderstand me but I really want to know exactly what your plans are?

My goal is to help my fellow Filipinos to engage into cryptocurrency investment. But because of Bitcoins high terminal fee it's very unlike to invite as many Filipinos as possible especially for the small investors in here. To shorten what my really goal is, is to have someone to give Filipinos a better way of going in the Bitshares Network without the means of going through Bitcoins process.

Thank you so much @xeldal. Since you are a witness in the Bitshares Network, I just want to ask if Bitshares has any plans for Philippines? I have so many friends that are willing to invest in crypto market. but right now the only way to enter Bitshares Network is trough coins.ph that sells Bitcoin. To us Bitcoin's terminal fee is really a disappointment.
