[Advantages Of Creating A Decentralized Governance]

The fields of application of the blockchain paradigm are countless, since it
allows “the disintermediation and decentralization of all transactions of any type between all
parties on a global basis. 

Today we're counting some of the advantages that has a blockchain based governance, over tradicional governance.

*  It  can handle the same transactions as tradicional payment systems in a  decentralized and consensus-driven public repository.
* It can gradually overcome any centralized political institution through distributed consensus and create the conditions for an idealistic society of equals.
* For the first time in history, citizens can now reach consensus and coordination at global level through cryptographically verified peer-to-peer procedure.


Perhaps the biggest advantage of using the blockchain for these types of purposes is how anyone can become a participant in a truly transparent system. ¿But are there more disadvantages? Of course, Bitcoin, for example, is currently run by  centralized mining farms, colossal mining operations in China with possible risks of collusion or cartelization. Therefore, a decentralized governance  based on such a blockchain would dangerously expose citizens' records and essential rights to private interests. Plus, if a hacker figures out how to change things like we've seen in TheDAO, we have to look deeper into this.

<h3> Blockchain governance needs more developing  </h3>
Decentralization   of   government   services   through permissioned blockchains is possible and desirable, since it can increase public administration functionality. But decentralization of governance presents serious risks and drawbacks, which offset the benefits. 

But the process this change could lead into the primacy of economics over politics, and the transformation of citizens into costumers with the promise of more freedom. 
<h4> We need more technical thinkers and blockchainers theorist. </h4>

The general idea makes sense to me, coming from a non-technical background. I get how coins are mined, and I like even better the use of blockchain for things like Steemit, where intellectual activity adds to the value. But I do wonder at how many blockchains we're going to have to be storing locally on our computers to keep up on all this. Nonetheless, a most interesting evolution of our use of technology.
