What Is The Minimum Cost To Build A Good Website?

<p>In this post, we will take a look at how much does it cost to build good website.</p>
<p>In order to build a website, we need four things: Domain hosting, Website hosting, Website builder software and Website design theme.</p>
<p><strong>1) Domain Hosting: </strong>Domain is the requirement for any website, let take a look at these option below:</p>
<p>Namecheap.com = $11/year per domain</p>
<p>godaddy.com &nbsp;= $18/year per domain ($9.98 for the first domain register with godaddy in the first year) =&gt; this is what i'm using.</p>
<p>1and1.com = $15/year per domain</p>
<p>($0.99 for the first domain register with 1and1 in the first year)</p>
<p>the cheapest will be 1and1.com with only $0.99 in the first year. (all above included domain privacy)</p>
<p><strong>2) Website hosting:</strong> i used Bluehost, HostGator and some other website hosting services out there and so far, the best from my expreience is siteground.com</p>
<p>from my personal expreience with siteground:</p>
<p>- fast support</p>
<p>- optimize speed for wordpress website</p>
<p>- very cheap (only $35.40 for one year)</p>
<p>i used them for over 2 years and i never experience downtime for my website.</p>
<p><strong>3) Website builder software:</strong> Wordpress will be the best option for pretty much any websites, and it totally free.</p>
<p><strong>4) Website Theme:&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>The best place to find a good wordpress theme is themeforest.net</p>
<p>They have hundreds thousands of wordpress theme for you to choose and the good one usually cost about $60.</p>
<p>You can also search for "free wordpress themes" to find some good one for free.</p>

<p>Average cost = $11 (namecheap domain) + $35.40 (site hosting) + $60 (wordpress theme) = $106.4</p>
<p>expensive cost = $11 (namecheap domain) + $35.40 (site hosting) + $600 (custom theme) = $646.40</p>
<h3>Can you build a website for FREE without paying any of these fee?</h3>
<p>Yes! There are some popular services out there that allow you to build your website for free. Let take a look at some of the best:</p>
<p>wix.com</p>
<p>webs.com</p>
<p>weebly.com</p>
<p>websitebuilder.com</p>
<p>The negative part about build your website for free is that you don't have your own domain, The website speed usually slower and at the bottom of your website (footer), there will be a link to one of these site above.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>My suggestion:</strong> If you want to build a good website, just pay a little. I don't think $36.39 is really high price to pay for one year (only $3/month).</p>

Sure.  Domain hosting is a service where they register and keep your domain, something like yourwebsite.com or steemit.com or youtube.com.

Website hosting is a service where they keep all files and contents of your website. 

example: youtube.com is a domain host in a domain hosting service, mean while all the videos you see in youtube is hosting under a website hosting service.

If your website don't have a domain hosting service then the website url will look like yourwebsite.yourwebhostingservice.com and i'm sure you probable don't like that.

Wordpress is best and free software to make a blog.

Yeah, before choosing a hosting we must check whether it is wordpress compatible or not.

Now-a-days cloud hosting going popular that dedicated hosts, as cloud hosting is less prone to crash and are cheaper. Hope this info helps to users who want to make blogs.
