Maybe I'm just to new to this whole cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, but i have not seen much Virtual Reality talk within the blockchain technology.

As this thought entered my brain i was stuck contemplating why?  Is the connection between the 2 not there yet, or am i so new and overwhelmed by so much being built with blockchain technology every day?

Incase you're not into virtual reality, let me paint a possible future of its capabilities along with A.I.

Right now, as I type, scientists around the world are using A.I. to try and figure out a way for your mind to be uploaded into a virtual reality world.
Yes.  You read that correctly.  Straight out of 1990's science fiction!  Now lets assume in this virtual reality world you want to take your family out to dinner.  How would you pay for that meal?  How would you expect to stay safe while in the upload?  Who, and/or what, would be creating retrievable records and memories in a secure, organized way?  Thats right.  Blockchain technology will be at the forefront of this major leap in human achievement.

Aside from this, blockchain has the chance to change everything we know.  From how we bank and exchange funds, to creating whole worlds on the cloud that we have yet to fully understand.

So in the not so distant future this is what i see evolving. 
1.)  Major advances in both blockchain and virtual reality technologies through the use of A.I.
2.)  As each really figure out their full potential we will see entire online communities being built in the virtual reality world with developers incororating blockchain technology as its in world currency. 
3.)  Blocks of space "land" will be bought and sold as digital real estate while owners of the land can use it how they wish.  In a virtual reality world we can be anyone we want.  So you can open any business, service, store, wildlife reserve, paradise island, etc.  Anything you can imagine.  But you will have to build it yourself or hire a "contractor" just like you would building a house in real life.  When using your VR equipment you will be able to visit with anyone in the world, face to face, as long as they are connected to the platform.  I expect this platform to be similar to Steemit in its social media earnings system, but integrated into a virtual reality 3D Sim City type of Graphics allowing you to literally sit inside your "friends" living room if invited.
4.)  Fiat currency will grow near extinction to the level of collectables and museums.  As it can not be used in the virtual world, we will adopt our platforms currency as the new Global currency. 
You would go to a virtual store and purchase your goods and services through face to face interaction using the virtual reality technologies.   This can lead to real world purchases such as clothes you can virtually try on designed by the virtual store owner, or that new iphone 26, or virtual purchases such as a new couch, apartment, boat, house, etc.   Whatever builders want to build "code" will be for sale.  Im imagining a 100% P.o.S. coin that owners of assets in the virtual reality world would be given annual percentage returns on their growing valued assests.  Much like real life.  However every owner gets equal % revenue share based on their individual asset worth.  
5.)  A.I. will break through will the greatest achievement known to man ever recorded.  We will be able to literally upload and download our entire brains memory, and personality onto the virtual worlds cloud and in a sense live as long as we want.  This will not go over well, and if you think abortion is a hard fought, ruthless war between sides, just wait until the subjects of soul, morals, and unnatural come up when this starts becoming a reality.  Many will die on both sides in riots and protests just like all other major movements in recent history such as, abortion, civil rights, womens rights, and so many more.
6.)  Literal governments will be formed in the virtual space.  Similar to real world, however in the virtual world you can claim any government you wish to sign allegiance to based on beliefs not on geographical locations.  Huge task forces will be created to try and stop the alarming hackers of actual identity theft.  Would you then die?  Could you prove your identity was stolen?
Id say since everything is recorded by the blockchain one could prove their identity was stolen, but if your not "alive" how can you report it?  Id venture to say whole new ways of policing will arise, companies such as lifelock would evolve into scanning for these thefts after they happen somehow and correcting them.  While reviving you and sentencing the hacker to ultimate death.  
7.)  Eventually we will all be uploaded at birth while our bodies will be kept alive to work unknowingly in the real world keeping up with the infrastructure.  We may even be digitally born on a systematic mathematical equation, every 20 minutes, just like a block when mining.
Except instead of creating currency you create life.  Maybe each pair of people would create a life after 2 years of marriage and then every 5 years could be optional for free.  Maybe a purchase option for faster reproduction.  Extras could cost as well.  Guaranteed boy or girl, athletic or smart, personality traits as well as facial features and hair color.  Maybe include a 0.01% chance on having twins....

Could this be the ultimate peaceful paradise on earth we've all been longing for?  Or the end of humankinds existance all together? 

We could argue both sides easily.  If we left this world for a virtual world our earth would go back to beginning times where mother nature has total rule.  Back to a true paradise designed by our creator.  On the other hand, if one believes in God, Allah, our creator, such as i do, then this might be frightening to you.  Playing with Gods power of creation, life, and death.  Surely Gods paradise is truly greater than anything man could ever build.

I for one am excited about this future and can't wait to buy my first island with some bitcoin, or whatever coin, but don't quite fancy the idea of completely uploading and or downloading my complete existence in the cloud.
