I grew up through the microcomputer boom. I did get to use a few of these, but the first I owned was an Acorn BBC Micro with a 1MHz 6502 CPU and 16kB. I upgraded it to 32kB to play games like Elite, but only ever had cassette for loading stuff. Later I had an Amiga 500+ and then a 1200 that got expanded to the max. Eventually I got a Windows PC, but these days I run Linux. My first computer experience was on a Teletype, so it's come a long way.
