Cool, then you are qualified...

This is a sensible, balanced attitude towards it. The licence change enabled a fork, and sooner or later, if it wasn't me, someone was going to do it. I'm doing it out of love for the community, not to win kudos, though of course vindication feels good.

I am only powering down because I am on a tight budget and I can't do this work without a nice roof over my head. You are taking a big risk on holding your stake here, because with the looming problems that are already causing so much trouble with exchanging, you will probably not be able to even trade your liquid assets out for some times here and there. 

I have made the suggestion of a 'ledger only' mode for steemd, I hope they are listening, but they have shown so far they only want to try and shove this under the rug, astroturfing it, which is completely the wrong attitude, and this is hurting especially people like you.
