In case you guys don't know there is a site https://beta.chainbb.com that is a forum format that runs on the steem blockchain. If you are thinking why do we need a forum when we have steemit, forum threads are a different format than the blog style of this site and they can be useful for topic discussions. They can be more direct and have a stronger focus on words. And as steemit still needs topics and better filtration, the organization of the site is helpful. I recommend checking it out, even just to see how other sites can interact with the same blockchain. We will have others coming.

When you post on the site, the post goes on the forum as well as gets posted in the main feed on steemit. If @jesta or someone else on the team reads this, I would recommend, if possible, to have a chain like symbol get added to the post so people know it was a forum post. Similar to how you have the steem symbol when your post is 100% power up (which you can see from the post). For people going through their feed, when you see a post that has no photo and is shorter in length, it might be from a forum post. What is interested, is this shows how other apps interact with the chain. When a post gets uploaded to another site it gets put on the main site and is filtered differently on that site. This is why steemit will need tags and filter options as it grows, the feed is going to get crazy (it already kinda is).

For my opinion of the site, it is pretty solid. It is organized by topic and easy to use. You can add your own post under any topic on the main page but not a new topic so things will not get too jumbled. Aesthetically it is a pleasant site to look at. It has a simple and fun style to it, for lack of better words. Forums can be robotic and cold, but this has big colourful buttons that give it a more friendly user experience. 

I posted a forum in the games section, under entertainment, to gather people who want to join the gaming community I am going to start when communities come to steemit. I do not know how they will work but I will keep everyone in mind when I figure it out. Here is the link:
