Atomic Chess is a fun chess variant, where you don't have to think as deep as in classic chess to be good, but it is more tactical. I'm just an average player, but can still win a tournament, because I was lucky and other players withdrew (you are still in the tournament if you withdraw, but you don't play more matches unless you join again) and I played a lot of matches.

Leave a comment if you want to know more about this chess variant. For example there are some standard openings which many new players don't know and then lose fast, even faster than I do in many games :-)
