What I am looking for and pay attention to is mainstreaming. It's all well and good for investors to play around like it is the crypto-stock market, but that will never get crypto a good rep. I look for people like me who are "users" of this currency to make it really take off.

The news  that hits my radar is about medium and large size companies and governments taking payment in crypto as well as regular people using it in their daily activities. When there is more of that action - then we can leave the banksters in the dust.

my knowledge in cryptography is low, but its approach makes a lot of logical sense for me.

The more benefits the product has, and the easier it is, there will be more adoption by users, making integration a more fluid process.
